- meet my best friend and wife to be!!!

- accomplished a whole lot during school.

- meet lots of friends who I will never forget.

- being baptized as a believer.

- delt with heart ache and pain.

- seen God’s strength in amazing way.

- went on lots of adventures with kara, my roommates, and friends.

- lots of work.

- late/all nighters.

- discovering more of the passion’s that God has placed inside of me.

- discovering more of who God really is.

- being grounded in truth!

- learning to love.

- learning to serve.

- learning to trust.

- being healed from the inside out.

-learning what it means to be a servant.

the list goes on. it has been an incredible journey so far! God has done amazing things.

it was such a late night last night. we were both up until

we have three more weeks of school left. and we’ve been engaged for almost 6 weeks! it is crazy how much stuff has to get done within three weeks. it’s 1:39 and i’m waiting for my powerpoint to open so that i can study for my test that i have tomorrow. not very fun. i just finished my paper that is due tomorrow. one of the hardest things that i struggle with is writing papers. it is hard, but with a lot of help i got it done.

we have lots of exciting news too!! which will come at a later time. it’s time to study and then hopefully get a few hours of sleep.

Kara and I are engaged!!! It has been a whirlwind of a weekend but such an amazing week and weekend, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. And she had no clue at all! I asked her to marry me on friday April 3rd 2009. I was humbled beyond words this entire week! Literally without words. Every time I went and talk to God, I become speechless… I start to stutter and then the only words that come out are Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I can’t believe God would allow me to meet such an amazing women. A women who loves Jesus passionately, has a huge love for family, and a huge love for me and a love for people. A women who has struggles just like me and accepts me just as I am!!  It has been an amazing adventure for almost 2 years now. And now we can’t wait for our journey to venture into the deeper journey that God has called us to. I am so excited! It still hasn’t even sunk it yet. We’re getting married!! ahh!

God hit me with a ton of bricks this morning. Listening to this song brought me to  tears and my knees!

What do you think?

I don’t wanna go through the motions
I don’t wanna go one more day
without Your all consuming passion inside of me
I don’t wanna spend my whole life asking,
“What if I had given everything,
instead of going through the motions?”

Listen to it here.
